World Mental Health Day 2023
World Mental Health Day is on 10 October 2023. It’s a day to raise awareness of mental health problems.
But more and more of us are aware of mental health. And so many of us still aren’t getting the right support.
Kensington and Chelsea Mind provides a peer support service for people aged 16+ and who are registered with a GP in Kensington and Chelsea. Our peer support team runs a full timetable of activities and groups every week, which can help you:
- feel less isolated
- increase your confidence
- develop self-management of your mental health
- get or give support
- talk to others with similar experiences who understand your mental health problems.
Our peer support service is part of Community Living Well. Community Living Well is a partnership between the NHS, Kensington and Chelsea Mind, SMART and Kensington and Chelsea Social Council. You can refer yourself to Community Living Well, or ask your GP to refer you, and you can access the services which best suit your needs.
