Talking Therapies Service
The Talking Therapies service is a free and confidential NHS service for people aged 18 and over who are registered with a GP in Kensington and Chelsea, Queen’s Park and Paddington.
Talking Therapies provides a range of support for when you experience difficult emotions, such as low mood, depression, anxiety and stress. You can learn ways to improve your wellbeing and have the space to think about your difficulties and find ways to manage them better. It can also support people with managing the practical and emotional aspects of living with long-term physical health conditions.
They offer a range of different therapy options, all of which are effective treatments recommended by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE). These include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Counselling, Online therapy programmes, Guided Self Help, Workshops and Courses, Couples Therapy and Long-Term Conditions Therapy.
Talking Therapies is part of the Community Living Well service. Community Living Well offers easy access to a range of services including: Primary Care Liaison, Navigators, Employment Support, Peer Support and Self-care. Find out more on their website
