Working arrangements for Monday 19 September
It has been officially confirmed that The Queen’s state funeral will take place on Monday 19 September and that it will be a Bank Holiday throughout the UK. Schools and many businesses and organisations will close for the day.

When a prominent public figure dies, the news can elicit a range of emotions. You don’t have to know someone personally to grieve their death or to feel impacted by it. It may also bring other feelings of grief to the surface again.
