Elected Trustees for 2006/2007
Nick Johnson , Chairperson
In 1977 I suffered a mental breakdown,
and as part of my recovery process lived in Thorndike
Close between 1983 – 1987. I joined the Executive Committee
in late 1991. In 1993 I was appointed Honorary Secretary.
Following a period of retirement from the Committee,
I returned as Chair in 1996. I work as a Computer Programmer.
Mark Lockhart , Honorary Treasurer
I am Finance Director at Westway
Development Trust and Honorary Treasurer of SOVA, a
national charity working with offenders and ex-offenders.
I have had various employments in the accountancy profession,
with Kidsons Impey, Arthur Andersen and Co and Macintyre
Hudson. I have been nominated for Mind to provide a
financial overview and financial expertise to the Executive
Committee.
Vivien Webster - Jones, Company
Secretary
I am the Supported Housing Manager
for Central and Cecil Housing Trust . I have been a
member of the Executive Committee of Age Concern Camden
and a committee member of the National Warden Association
(a voluntary organisation for Sheltered and Supported
Housing Staff). Within my role I work closely with residents
with mental health issues to play an active part in
the community and to seek both paid and voluntary work.
Janet Godsall, Member
I have worked for Central and
Cecil Housing Trust in frail/elderly sheltered/supported
housing sector for 11 years. I curently work in
two part time posts as a Tenancy Support Manager over
three schemes and as a Supported Housing Officer in
the Mental Health Learning Disabilities Team.
Previously, I worked in Residential Care Homes as Duty
Warden and Day Centres with a special interest in Alzhemier's
Disease.
David Twist, Member
My community development projects
have won national awards. I design and deliver leadership
development programmes for marginalised groups internationally.
I work closely with adults with learning disabilities
in my community. I am also an Association Member
of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development.
I am currently studying an advanced diploma in Strategic
Management.
Mind's Trustees also works with
a number of Advisors for specialist input on mental
health, public sector housing, personnel and legal matters
and from June 2006, with Mind's specialist User Advisory
Group.
We are always interested in hearing
from individuals who may be interested in joining the
