Supported Housing
Mind Housing projects provide supported accommodation for people with a severe and/or enduring mental health problem. The projects aim to provide an accommodation based service and housing related support to help individuals establish and maintain support systems and develop skills and confidence in managing their own affairs.

Mind works to achieve this by:

  • Working within a housing management and housing related support framework to provide a needs led service delivered through a process of individual needs assessment and support planning.
  • Working with other specialist housing and mental health agencies to provide effective housing management and support services to enable individuals to live independently in the community.
  • Working in partnership with key mental health professionals to support the mental health needs of service users.
  • Providing advice and information on other Mind and local community services to empower and enable service users to build real and lasting integrated support networks.

Mind Supported Housing is located in the north and south of the borough. Referrals are made through the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea Housing Assessment Support and Placement Team, more commonly known as the HASP Team.
