It's so simple to join Friends in Need and start taking advantage of the huge range of local activities, but we know that taking those first steps can be really difficult.

If you’re new to Friends in Need (FiN) why not come along to our monthly coffee meet up, especially for new and recently joined members (come along even if you joined a while ago but haven’t been to many meet ups). It’s friendly, informal, relaxed and a great way to meet a FiN coordinator, other new members and find out more about what’s available that might support you.

Highlights in May include:

  • Fitness Friends - We're off to explore the fitness area of Hyde Park. Whatever your ability, come and join us
  • FiN Arts: V&A Museum - Join us for this fascinating exhibition of one of the most revered and influential designers of the 20th century
  • Music & Wellbeing - There's four amazing concerts in May to go along to. So, if you're a fan of classical, jazz, percussion or the harp then check out our Royal College of Music concerts
  • New Self-Help group - Join Liz for the very first mood and food self-help group taking place on the 18th May
