Advice and Information
Mind is often the first place people turn to for advice on mental health problems and we know from the feedback we receive that information can be difficult to find, particularly at times of crisis, or when people are in distress.

Mind believes that accurate, up to date, information is vital to enable people to make informed choices and decisions about their mental well being.

Kensington & Chelsea Mind offers a telephone advice and information service about local mental health and community resources to members of the public who may not be familiar with, or know how, to access the support they need.

Mind is currently expanding their advice and information service database into an online mental health directory in order to widen and improve access to information and resources.

To access Mind's confidential advice and/or information service please call

020 8964 1333 between 10am and 12noon, Monday to Friday, or email your enquiry to enquiries@kcmind.org.ukAlternatively, you can visit our online mental health directory located on the left hand panel.

Please note that we not offer telephone counselling, casework or advice services in the formal sense.  Our primary role is to advise and inform the public about serivces that are available in the area and how to access them.

Mental Health Advice and Information on the Web

Until the online mental health directory is fully developed we have listed some of the key mental health resources available.  These will eventually be incorporated into the directory.

The following links are recommended for those seeking advice on the subject of mental health, either for themselves, or for others.  These sites offer comprehensive information and encourage a greater awareness of mental health issues, as well as advising how to seek help where appropriate.
